Research Summary
Research Interests
Our lab is interested in developing engineering approaches to solve biological problems related to healthcare engineering. To address limitations of existing biomedical strategies including lack of suitable materials with high levels of complexities/dynamics in the body, our lab focuses on developing/designing smart biomaterial systems for potential applications in tissue engineering and regenerative medicine. Furthermore, our lab tries to understand human body/tissue systems as well as biomaterial-cell interface for smart healthcare engineering.
